Draft pending counsel review
Terms of Service
Version 2026-11-02-draft · Effective November 2, 2026
These terms are an agreement between the business you use Crewtro for ("you") and [to be added before launch] ("we", "us"). By ticking "I agree" in the app you accept them for your business. The Acceptable Use Policy and the Refund & Cancellation Policy are part of these terms. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
1. Who can use Crewtro
You must be at least 18 and allowed to act for the business. The account owner is responsible for the people they invite and the roles they give them.
2. What Crewtro does
Crewtro helps you answer homeowner requests, build quotes, book jobs on your calendar, send invoices and reminders, keep customer records, answer reviews, read forwarded e-mails and get notifications on your phone.
Some features are not on yet and work only when turned on: payments from homeowners, live location while "on my way", and review requests. We will tell you in the app when one is turned on.
3. Your account
Keep your sign-in safe and do not share it. Tell us at [to be added before launch] if you think someone used your account.
4. Your customers and their data
- You are responsible for having the right to add your customers' details and to contact them.
- We keep your customer records for you and use them only to run Crewtro for you, as the Privacy Policy explains.
- If a homeowner asks us about their data held in your records, we pass the request to your owner and admins in Settings → Privacy requests. You agree to answer it by the "respond by" date shown.
5. Texts and calls
Texts and calls go through our communications service. It checks consent, quiet hours and opt-outs, and it may refuse a text that breaks them. You must only text people who agreed to hear from you, respect STOP at once and never send spam. Texts and calls may use your credits as shown in the app.
6. Homeowner requests (lead network)
If you join the lead network, each homeowner request is offered to one pro at a time. The cost of a lead, if any, is shown before you accept it. Do not contact a homeowner for anything other than their request.
7. Quotes, prices and AI
You set your prices and you are responsible for your quotes, your work and your agreements with homeowners. A price range shown to a homeowner from photos is an estimate made with AI from your prices and our catalog; you confirm the actual price. Review any text the app drafts for you (for example a reply to a review) before sending or posting it.
8. Plan and fees
Billing has not started. Before anything is charged you will see your plan, its price and the renewal date in Settings → Plan, and you will be asked to agree. Plans renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Plan with one click; access stays until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
9. Payments from homeowners (when turned on)
When payments are turned on, homeowners pay you through our payment processor, into your own connected account. We never hold your money. The processor's own terms apply to your connected account.
10. Your data, export and deletion
Your business data is yours. The owner or an admin can export it at any time in Settings → Your data. The owner can delete the account there: deletion starts after a 7-day grace period, which can be cancelled. Invoices and payment records are kept for 7 years and terms acceptance records for the account life plus 7 years, as the law requires. Customers’ personal details, notes, photos, forwarded e-mails, push devices and links are deleted or switched off. Also kept: homeowners’ quote acceptances (as evidence, with the invoices), the audit log of who did what (ids only, 24 months), and the jobs and quotes linked to a kept invoice. Records at our service providers (sign-in, payments, calls and texts, e-mail, calendar connections) are removed by our team after the grace period.
11. Acceptable use and suspension
Follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may limit or suspend an account that breaks it or puts homeowners, other pros or the service at risk. Where we can, we tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
12. Ownership
We own Crewtro and its software. You give us permission to use your content only to run Crewtro for you. Do not copy, resell or reverse engineer the app.
13. No guarantees and limits on liability
Crewtro is provided "as is". We work to keep it running, but we do not promise it will never fail, or that it will win you jobs. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You are responsible for claims that come from your work, your quotes or how you contact homeowners.
14. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Crewtro and delete your account at any time. We may end the agreement with notice, or at once for a serious breach. Sections about data, liability and ownership continue after it ends.
15. Changes
We may update these terms. Each version has a version name and an effective date, and earlier versions stay available. For a material change, the app asks you to read and accept the new version before you continue.
16. Law and contact
The governing law and where disputes are heard will be stated here before launch. Notices: [to be added before launch], [to be added before launch], [to be added before launch].
